Under the YSR Housing Scheme 2023 State Government will regulate two Scheme i.e YSR Economic Weaker Sections Housing Scheme and YSR Urban Housing Scheme. As per the promise made by Chief Minister Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy in his election campaign, YSR Housing Scheme has been announced on 12 th July 2019. CM completes one of his 9 major promises he made to the people of the state during elections. The scheme named on his father name YS RajshekharaReddy. This scheme is previously known as NTR housing scheme. The government of the state allocate Rs.2280 crores for the scheme. The scheme is for the poor people of the state who does not have own house and not able to afford built their own house.
PMAY Urban Yojana is basically regulated under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs Government of India. PMAY Scheme covers Lower Income Group and Middle-income Groups persons of urban areas. YSR Government has sanctioned Rs 1,280 crore under the State Budget. PMAY YSR EWS Housing Yojana will provide Pakka houses to Economic weaker section beneficiary. Any Citizen of Andhra Pradesh who will fulfil all government decided criteria will be able to apply for PMAY Weaker Sections Housing Scheme.
The YSR urban housing scheme will implement by the government of the state from next year. This scheme is specially announced for poor, middle-income section and lower-income groups who lives in Urban area. For the successful implementation of YSR Urban Housing Scheme, the state government has allocated Rs 1000 crore. Additionally, the PMAY Urban Rs.5000/- crore allocated by the Center government for the development of the Urban area. The finance minister of Andhra Pradesh B Rajendra Nath Reddy has announced a budget for the financial year 2020-21 for 21 welfare schemes run by Andhra Pradesh government for the financial help of needy people. The cabinet committee on economic affairs have launched a new housing scheme on 8 July 2020 called YSR Jagananna Colonies Scheme. Through the scheme the Government of Andhra Pradesh will provide land to beneficiary and along with this land documents for construction of house will also be provided to them. The Government of Andhra Pradesh have instructed banks to provide financial help to the beneficiaries. The Government of Andhra Pradesh have identified around 60,000 beneficiaries and around 10,000 applications are under consideration for this scheme.
This Scheme wiill be launched in Kadapa district at pulivendula town. The area that is covered in the scheme will be around 255 acres land. The government has decided to allocate around 1- 1.5 cent of land along with documents. Around 754 layouts are formed with 95,549 plots for allocation. Every layout has 10% land for the purpose of community parks, playgrounds etc and the development of this land project will be taken place by the government of Andhra Pradesh on war footing basis.
The scheme will provide all the possible and best facilities to all the beneficiaries of the scheme. All The eligible beneficiaries will get the cheap and probably the best facilities like proper Road facility, good drinking water facility, 24*7 electricity facility, and many more.
