Graduate Applicant Forms

Admissions Application

This application is required for all master’s and certificate programs as well as for non-degree, post-graduate, and transient students.

Apply for Post-Graduate Student Status

Postgraduate students are those who have received a master's degree from Robinson and wish to take additional graduate courses without pursuing another degree. They may enroll for credit or audit.

Apply to Re-enter the Robinson College of Business

The graduate re-entry application is for graduate students who are currently INACTIVE. You are considered inactive when you have low or no enrollment over a period time.

Specifically, you are inactive when:

You may also be routed to the graduate re-entry application for additional reasons at your home college's discretion.

Graduate re-entry applicants may only re-enter into the graduate program they were previously enrolled in. If you wish to take courses in or enroll in a different degree/certificate program, you must submit a graduate application.

Non-Georgia State Students: Petition to Take Graduate Coursework at Robinson (Transient Status)

Students enrolled in a graduate degree program at another accredited institution may take graduate courses in the college. A maximum of nine semester hours may be taken as a transient student unless approval for additional hours is requested by the student’s home institution. Transients who later enroll in a Robinson master’s program may apply a maximum of nine appropriate graduate credit hours earned in transient status toward the requirements of the Robinson program.

To become a master’s degree-seeking student, a transient student must submit a new online application, application fee, and the required credentials by the application deadline for the semester in which they wish to begin.

The below transient application materials must be submitted online:

  1. The online application
  2. A $50 application fee. This fee is nonrefundable.
  3. A “Certification of Good Standing” completed by the home institution. Please refer to your home institution for the appropriate form or you may use this form.

Request an Admissions Deferral

The purpose of this form is for newly admitted students to request a deferral of their admissions to a later term. Deferrals may be requested up until 3 weeks prior to the start of the desired semester.

Conditions of deferring your admission:

*Students are only allowed a one-time deferral within the academic year for which the student was admitted. If a deferral was granted previously, subsequent deferrals are not permitted, and the student must submit a new application and fee for consideration.

*If you are deferring your admissions, you must drop any registered courses in order to prevent charges for the original term.

*If you are seeking a change of program, you must submit a new application and fee. If you have questions, email [email protected] .

*If you have already submitted a seat deposit, that deposit is forfeited. You will be required to submit a new seat deposit for the new semester if the deferral is approved. The new seat deposit will be credited to your student account if you enroll in the new semester

If you have any questions or comments, please email [email protected] .

Program Update

If you want to enroll in a different master's program, please submit a new application and fee. Any previously submitted materials can be transferred to the new application, except for the video interview. If you have any questions regarding this process, please email [email protected] .
